‘The Letterbox’
Come and stay at Wenford Bridge Pottery, we have a small apartment next to the Potters Barn. It is available to rent as a holiday let throughout the year for anyone visiting this wonderful part of Cornwall just down from Bodmin Moor.
The Letterbox is named after the Royal Mail post box on the outside wall. It is a stone building which can sleep up to four people. The open plan layout comprises a living room/ diner and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob and oven, a Belfast sink, fridge and microwave. There is also a wet room with shower. The main double bed is situated on a mezzanine with limited head room. It is accessed via a loft ladder so is not suitable for young children or people with limited mobility. However, there is also a comfortable day bed in the living area which can be used as a single or made into a double. The apartment also benefits from a small deck to the rear with table and chairs and views over Wenford Bridge and down to the River Camel.
There is ample parking in our car park across the road from the Letterbox. Fishing is available along our stretch of the River Camel. Individual licenses must be purchased from the Post Office. There is a local village store and Post Office up the hill in St Breward village. Across the road is the Snail’s Pace Cafe, bicycle hire and access to the Camel Trail.
