Cookie Scottorn is a Ceramic and Textile artist making planters, fountains and sculptures for the garden, patio conservatory and home.

The external pieces are frost resistant.

Making sequence for large head planter

The Head is thrown in two sections and when soft leather hard they are joined together and hand built to the required height. The bandages help to support the shape, when at the right height the face is then modelled, This one is a sea Godess with ammonites and fish modelled on as a head dress.

Cookie also produces machine embroidered pictures, some with ceramic frames, normally figurative subjects of animals and birds in the landscape.
